HHS UPDATE- WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU BY JANUARY 10, 2022

If you received HHS Provider Relief Fund payments in excess of $10,000 between July 1, 2020 – December 31, 2020, you must comply with HHS’ reporting requirement.  The Reporting Portal will open January 1, 2022 and your report must be submitted by March 31, 2022.  There is currently no extension available from HHS and non-compliance will result in the need to automatically return any funds received.

We released a blog in October that went through the reporting process, step by step.  Please see a link to that blog here: https://www.fluenceportland.com/consulting/update-on-hhs-provider-relief-fund-prf-reporting-process-for-physicians-and-dentists

There is a workbook provided by HHS that will walk you through the information needed for the report.  Our blog contains a link to this workbook.  We also highly recommend that you watch the following video from HHS that will walk you through the reporting process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnn66Y0Cv7g

If you would like our help to complete the reporting requirements, please let us know by January 10, 2022.  This will be an involved process during a very busy time of year for us, and we need to plan for the workload now in order to ensure that we can complete all submissions by the March 31, 2022 deadline.   We estimate that our cost for completing the reporting requirement will be between $2,000 – $3,000.  If you request our help, we will be in touch with you in early January with a list of items that we will need from you in order to complete submission.  In the meantime, if you have not already done so, please begin to put together a list of your COVID related expenses that haven’t previously been reimbursed through other grants/relief funds.
